[An Invitation from YouTube]

Recently, to celebrate reaching 3 million YouTube subscribers, we were honored to be invited to the YouTube Creator Collective Milestone Edition.

It has been about two years since my wife and I launched our YouTube channel, “Fufu / ふうふ.”
Looking back, those days were filled with sheer determination.

There was a time in Italy when we boarded the wrong train and, in order to catch our flight back to Japan, jumped onto a night train known for poor safety. Even while being on constant alert for pickpockets, we edited videos on board just to keep our promise of posting at least three videos every single day.

There were also early mornings when we filmed together in freezing parks, shivering in the cold. When one of those videos later reached 200 million views, we were truly amazed.

Through the accumulation of such days, we eventually found ourselves with over 3 million subscribers and more than 4.1 billion total views (Japan's Most Subscribed and Viewed Couple Channel).

However, what matters to us even more than these numbers is the people we have met along the way.

The flight attendant who said, “Oh! You’re the couple from those funny videos!” and gave us a handwritten letter and delicious liqueur on a flight to the Netherlands.
The children in the Philippines who welcomed us with radiant smiles.

It is because of each and every person on the other side of the screen that we are who we are today.

We are still on our journey. We believe that this is where the real beginning starts.

Until now, we have pursued videos that people would simply find entertaining. Starting in 2026, we will build on our experiences by launching a new channel and taking on content centered around learning and education. Through the power of entertainment, we hope to contribute to children’s futures and become a spark for someone’s journey of learning.

We will continue to move forward, step by step, with gratitude always in our hearts.
